Tartan Week is annual event here in New York City, a celebration of Scottish immigrant influence on America. This April there were kilts and ceilidhs, poetry readings and parades – even a high end fashion show featuring collections from the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Judy Clark and Scottish Cashmere. I couldn’t miss out on experiencing the culture of my home country combined with the best of the Big Apple, so camera in hand, I layered my press pass over my pearls and snapped a few shots along the way…
