Crystal clear Caribbean waters, rich Yucatan food, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World: as you can imagine, three full days was not nearly long enough to experience all that Mexico’s Riviera Maya and the Yucatan peninsula has to offer.
Still, we did our best, and crammed as many backstreet tacos, beach side cocktails, and visits to ancient Mayan ruins as we could manage into our long weekend on the Mexican coast. Hit play to get a taste of the Riviera Maya via iPhone video, and a sneak peek at the kind of stories you can expect to see on the blog in the coming weeks!

I love this video! I made videos of my recent rip to NYC and Chicago and I it’s such a nice way to remember a trip. I also really enjoy putting those videos together, almost as much fun as looking at them later on.
Thank you! I agree – the videos are just as much fun to make, as they are to look back on for memories 🙂
Nice job on the video. Cancun is my FAVORITE weekend get away.
Thanks Sheila! It was a great place for a quick break from NYC 🙂
I’m going to the Riviera Maya in October and this got me really excited! I had no idea an iPhone could take such great video. I should figure out how to do that!
Thanks Katy – I’m so glad it’s made you excited about visiting Mexico! I just film on my iPhone camera, and then use the iMovie App or Cameo App to put the videos together (this one was done using Cameo – it’s nice and simple to use!).
Beautiful! Looking forward to Mexico City and Oaxaca City visits in early March.
